I plan on getting to know some people. I've actually done something like this before; created, operated, and moderated multiple forums in the past, and have been a co-admin and moderator (usually global moderator) on a few other forums in my time.

I was also going to be a Lit major, so there's that.

I've been around the block. These days, I just find myself rather bored, so here I am to get to know people and chat a little. :p

Oh that is awesome. Well I will keep you in mind if we need more mods for when the site gets more active (I hope it does) since you have some experience already. Sadly that might be awhile.
In the meantime if you want to chat with the other members you could always post something about a favorite movie, game, show or book, play a fourm game, or just chat about whatever. The members we have now are really friendly so I am sure you will have no trouble making friends.

While I'm flattered you'd consider me, I wasn't asking to be a moderator :p

I'm just trying to explain that I've been down this road before a few different ways, and even made my own sites that actually turned out pretty well in the past. These are always difficult to start up and follow through with, but so long as you have patience and a big draw (something special, something unique), you'll keep this forum afloat.

I'm eager to meet the other members, but no one seems to be online.
